Both USER.DAT and SYSTEM.DAT are hidden files. The following lines
DEL C:\WINDOWS\USER.DAT
DEL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.DAT
did nothing at all, the files were still there! :-] Give yourself a pat on the back if you also thought about *.DA0 files, you do know your stuff.
