Tom's Hardware Guide - one of the first computer sites with reviews and editorials, written by an enthusiast.

No Nags - a pretty cool freeware site with ratings, etc.

Bootdisk.com - if you love bootdisks like I do or just need one for a quick repair job, take a look here.

Magazines

CPU [Computer Power User] - a nice "thick" magazine, with lots of reviews, technical white papers and some nice articles from people "in the know."

Maximum PC - maximum PC, minimum BS, or at least pretty close. Their website is somewhat lame but the magazine is not bad.

Computer Games magazine - serious fun. Mature game reviews and opinions about game industry.
